How we write and check the numbers.

Numbers come from code, not prose

Every figure in every article and calculator example is produced by the site's calculation engine at build time. When the engine changes, the examples rebuild. We do not hand-type statistics into articles.

Sources

Regulatory and definitional claims cite primary sources — the CFPB, Federal Reserve, and FTC — which are linked in each article's references. We do not cite other calculator sites as authorities.

Corrections

Factual errors are fixed promptly and noted to readers who reported them. Email support@payofftable.com.

Advertising independence

Advertising does not influence which calculators exist or what they output. There are no sponsored rankings and no paid placements inside calculator results.
